Polls open in Hampshire and Isle of Wight elections

County, district and city councils are holding local elections across Hampshire

Polling stations across Hampshire have opened for voting for local elections.

All seats on Hampshire County Council and Isle of Wight Council are being contested, alongside elections in several district and borough councils.

Seats on Southampton and Portsmouth city council elections are also up for election. Polling stations will close at 22:00 BST.

Voters will need to show an accepted photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, before casting a vote.
