Four men in court over assaults at care home
GoogleFour men have appeared in court in connection with two assaults at a care home near Lincoln.
The incidents took place at Broughton House and College on 3 and 8 August.
A 28-year-old resident of the home, who was the victim of both assaults, was left with injuries described as non-serious and received hospital treatment, Lincolnshire Police added.
At Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, the four men were remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Lincoln Crown Court on 9 September.
Ibukun Abati-Sobulo, 40, of Riverside Drive, Lincoln,is charged with ill-treating or wilfully neglecting an individual, and with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Samuel Adebayo,33, of Maximus Road, North Hykeham,is charged with ill-treating or wilfully neglecting an individual.
Jonah Inieridiong, 29, of Hamilton Road, Lincoln, is charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Adans Richard, 46,of Park Lane, Lincoln,is charged with two counts of ill-treating/wilfully neglecting an individual.
The care home in Brant Broughton specialises in looking after autistic adults and those with learning disabilities.
