M11 shut after crash on county border

Part of the M11 has been closed in both directions after a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the Cambridgeshire and Essex border.

The road is shut between junction nine for Great Chesterford and junction 9A at Stump Cross, where the road becomes the A11.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was called to reports of a serious collision at 07:00 BST.

Drivers have been warned delays will last throughout the morning and diversion details have been provided on the National Highways website.
