Barn fire prompts warning to shut windows and doors

Firefighters have been tackling a fire in a large barn overnight.

Crews were called on Sunday night after the fire broke out in the Chalgrove area of south Oxfordshire.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire caused a large smoke plume to drift north-west in the direction of Little Milton about three miles (5km) away.

Those living in the area have been advised to keep windows and doors closed. The BBC has asked the fire service for further details.
