North Somerset festival celebrates rural life
NSASA local family-friendly agricultural festival is taking place to celebrate local rural traditions.
The North Somerset Agricultural Show includes livestock judging, tractor pulling, music, food, family activities and show jumping.
Organisers said: "It is a proper mix of everything that makes Somerset what it is."
The event, held on North Somerset Showground near Bristol, takes place on 4 May.
A North Somerset Agricultural Show spokesperson said: "It will be a full day celebrating the best of Somerset with livestock and rural traditions to food, shopping, family activities and plenty happening in the main ring."
'Rural life pride'
Visitors will also have a chance to meet local farmers to learn more about what they do and "the pride that goes into rural life".
"A day at the show connects people more closely to the countryside around them," the spokesperson said.
The event will also include a "high energy" quadbike stunt show: "Expect big jumps, technical skill, and plenty of moments where you'll be holding your breath. Perfect for all ages."
