A nine-year-old boy has died two weeks after being critically injured in a crash.

The collision occurred at Masshouse Lane at the junction of Shannon Road in Kings Norton, Birmingham, at about 18:00 BST on 28 July.

West Midlands Police confirmed the boy has since died.

After the collision James Connors, 32, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, and driving while disqualified and without insurance, West Midlands Police said.
