Briosgaidean Seasaman Tahini

Ro-theasaich an àmhainn gu 180C.

Leagh an ìm ann am pana gus an tèid e donn. Leig leis fuarachadh.

Nuair a tha e air fuarachadh, cuir an ìm ann am bobhla mòr, cuide ris an t-siùcar agus measgaich còmhla.

Bris an ugh a-steach ann agus measgaich a-rithist.

Cuir bloigh de bhrìgh bhanila a-steach ann còmhla ris an tahini agus paisg a-steach iad.

Cuir ris flùr, salann, soda-bèicearachd agus paisg a-steach gu socair.

Cuir ris na pìosan teòclaid agus measgaich.

Cruthaich na bàlaichean le do làmhan, an uairsin dub na bàlaichean ann an sìl seasaman, gus am bi còmhdach de shìol air am mullach.

Cuir na bàlaichean air treidhe, am mullach leis an t-sìol gu h-àirde.

Cuir dhan a frids iad airson 30 mionaid no dhan reothadair airson 10 mionaid.

Tahini Sesame Cookies

Makes 12 cookies
½ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup tahini
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
Vanilla essence/extract
1 ¼ cups plain flour
½ tsp baking soda
Salt
1 bar white chocolate, broken into chunks.
Sesame seeds

Pre-heat oven to 180C.

Melt the butter in a pan until it goes brown. Allow to cool.

Put the cooled butter in a large bowl, along with the sugar and mix.

Break the egg in and mix together.

Add a splash of vanilla essence and the tahini and fold into the mixture.

Add the flour, salt, baking soda and fold in gently.

Add the chocolate chunks and mix into the mixture.

Form balls of the mixture with your hands, then dip the balls into the sesame seeds, so that the tops of them will have a coating of sesame seeds.

Lay the balls out on a tray, with the sesame coated sides up.

Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Once refrigerated for the appropriate time, remove the balls from the fridge and transfer the cookies to another baking tray, lined with baking paper. Leave space between each one as they will spread whilst baking.

Bake at 180C for 12 minutes.
