Pronn a-mach uisge sam bith a bharrachd a tha air fhàgail sna mearagan-beaga agus cuir ann am bobhla mòr eile iad.

Pronn na peasraichean ann am bobhla, chan fheum iad uile a bhith air am pronnadh gu mìn. Cuir ann am bobhla iad le na sliseagan de mhearagan-beaga.

Cuir ris bleideagan tioladh, papraig, lus MhicCuimein, agus grèat an creamh a-steach dhan bhobhla.

Cuir ris flùr plèana, pùdar-bèicearachd, agus na h-uighean.

Paisg na grìtheidean uile a-steach còmhla.

Courgette and Pea Fritters

2 courgettes
200g frozen peas, thawed
100g plain flour
3 eggs
2 garlic cloves
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp chilli flakes
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Olive oil for frying

Dip
Yoghurt
Lemon zest
Dill
Salt

Cut the ends off the courgettes and grate them into a large bowl. Squeeze excess water out of the courgettes and transfer into another large bowl.

Roughly mash the peas in a bowl. They don’t all have to be mashed. Place in the bowl along with the grated courgettes.

Add chilli flakes, paprika, cumin, and grate the garlic into the bowl.

Add plain flour, baking powder and the eggs.

Fold all the ingredients together.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot enough put spoonfuls of the mixture on the pan and allow to fry for a couple of minutes until golden and crisp on both sides.

For the dip combine the yoghurt, dill and lemon zest and season with salt.

Serve your fritters with the yoghurt dip.
