Unknown gunmen don kidnap one woman and her two children wey dey related to Nigeria former minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, for Challenge area of Ibadan, southwest Nigeria.

"Information wey we gada say di lady wey dem kidnap na sister to former minister of power. Dem get same parent according to information wey dey bifor me."

Adelabu confam kidnap incident, family call for help

Di family of di former minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu, confam di unfortunate kidnapping of im younger sister wey 43 years old.

Di family identify di victim as "Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, alongside her twin sons, Peter and Paul wey dem kidnap for di early hours of Wednesday, June 3, 2026".

According to di press release by Femi Awogboro, di media aide to Adelabu, di gunmen bin attack around 7am while she dey go drop her pikin for school.
