Tonight will see cloud cover thicken for all, bringing spells of light rain across the Isles and northern mainland. Drier to the south of the mainland.

Thursday

Tomorrow, the Isles look to stay largely cloudy with the odd light shower still about. Turning dry on the mainland with sunshine developing in the afternoon once early cloud clears.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday will be mostly sunny on the mainland, but turning cloudier later. Mainly cloudy with a chance of rain on the Isles. Early rain should clear on Saturday leaving sunshine on the Isles, however the mainland will remain cloudy with rain again by evening. Sunday should see early rain clear the mainland, leaving all with sunny spells and patchy cloud.
