Warning services for areas at risk of flooding are provided for England, Wales and Scotland. BBC Weather works closely with its partners to raise awareness of weather events affecting Northern Ireland. Specific flood warnings, however, are not currently issued for Northern Ireland.

    High tides tomorrow may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible around both high tides (07:45 and 20:00) on Sunday 17 May. Flooding may affect locations at Porlock Bay on Sunday 17 May, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Hinkley Point. The first forecast high water of 6.10 mAODN is at 07:45, with North-westerly Force 5 winds. The second forecast high water is at 6.26 mAODN at 20:00, with Westerly Force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message for future days if needed. Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
