Ramell Carter's late first-half goal was all it took for Worthing to secure victory over 10-man Wealdstone.

The Stones survived a flurry of early chances from the hosts after Dom Hutchinson hit a post, Teddy Jenks' follow-up was cleared off the line and Jack Wadham's effort was saved by Dante Baptiste.

However, Hull loanee Carter found the breakthrough a minute before the break when he brought down Joel Colbran's free-kick and tucked home a half-volley.

Wealdstone went down to 10 men six minutes after the restart when Dylan Kadji was sent off after picking up his second yellow card.
