Tai Sodje's equaliser maintained Walsall's unbeaten record in League One as the Saddlers drew with a much-improved Swindon side.
Town went ahead in the softest fashion early on from a long Mitch Clark throw which saw Stephan Negru hook the ball to Aaron Drinan who poked in from two yards.
Joseph Hungbo then slipped in the unmarked Antwoine Hackford who launched well over before Clark ran 20 yards to pick up a loose ball and blast a shot at the Saddlers goalkeeper.
Billy Kirman then found Negru in a crowded box but his hook drifted over.
Sodje rampaged down the right and hit a vicious dipping shot but Connor Ripley pulled off a stunning save to claw it away, and the Swindon keeper then denied Mason Hancock at the near post.
Walsall drew level when Sodje nodded home a looping deflection at the back post after Ripley had done well to keep out a Hancock piledriver.
Drinan thundered a shot just wide of the post, and Ripley did well to repel a hard shot on the turn from Aaron Pressley, but neither side could find a winner.
