Shrewsbury Town held on for a dramatic win over Bristol Rovers despite ending the League Two game at the Croud Meadow with nine men.
George Lloyd's 77th-minute penalty - the first spotkick Town had been awarded in 67 league matches - proved enough for the hosts to claim victory.
But they then had to do it the hard way after Salop pair Jay Turner-Cooke and Isaac Fletcher were both sent off.
Shrewsbury, who have lost just once in their last seven league games, condemned the Pirates to a fifth defeat in six league outings.
The hosts dominated the early exchanges, with Kian McMahon-Brown and Sam Stubbs going close inside the opening 20 minutes.
Rovers grew into the contest, with Bobby Kamwa and Tom James both trying their luck in a goalless first half.
Stubbs missed another opportunity after the break, heading a Tom Sang corner straight at goalkeeper Brad Young.
Shrewsbury finally broke the deadlock with 13 minutes remaining when Will Boyle was brought down in the box by Joe Quigley.
It was the hosts' first penalty in league action since Josh Magennis missed from the spot in a 2-0 defeat at Exeter in March 2025 - but this time there was no mistake as Lloyd converted calmly to the Rovers keeper's right.
Turner-Cooke was then dismissed for a late tackle in the 80th minute on Shaq Forde before Fletcher was also shown a straight red card for a high challenge on Arvin Appiah in stoppage time, but Rovers could not find an equaliser.
