    Rachin Ravindra takes two through point off Ben Stokes' opening delivery, and the England captain then sees Daryl Mitchell inside edge a four to fine leg.

    Josh Tongue is out there and should collect comfortably, but he rather lazily only puts one hand down and manages to deflect the ball back through his legs and onto the ropes.

    Quite a lot of glowering from Stokes at that bit of fielding.

    Would fancy Ben Stokes to bring himself on for Josh Tongue. Aside from that one edge, he's not quite bowled the right line and length as other bowlers and it's relieving the pressure Gus Atkinson and Jofra Archer are piling on.

    Final ball of the over and Gus Atkinson digs on into Daryl Mitchell which flashes off the Kiwi batter's thigh pad and is caught by Ben Duckett at leg slip.

    England appeal, half-heartedly. The Trent Bridge crowd appeal wholeheartedly.

    Almost a carbon copy of the ball which flashed past Harry Brook in the previous over from Josh Tongue.

    Nicholls hangs his bat to a delivery from Gus Atkinson and there's an edge which carries but this time Brook reacts quickly to snaffle it.

    An 90mph nip backer clatters into pad of the left-handed Henry Nicholls, but after a brief conflab England decline to review.

    Next ball an 89mph delivery which nips the other way beats the defensive prod of Nicholls.
