Nigerians don dey divided ova First Lady Remi Tinubu comments on akara, corn and kulikuli as she bin dey tok about small-scale ventures.

Mrs Tinubu say di govment dey try give hope and to start akara business no cost plenty money.

She yarn dis one wen she bin dey speak wit correspondents afta di second-quarter meeting of di Renewed Hope Initiative wit wives of state govnors for di State House for Abuja on Wednesday, 24 June.

"We dey try to give hope, and to start akara business no cost plenty money. To start roasting corn, or pesin even say kuli kuli no dey take much. We bin no give dem loan; we bin give dem as grant.

"So we don encouraged Nigerians di best wey we fit do. Wetin dey within our hands, I don give, and I dey continue to give," she tok.

Di First Lady also highlight interventions in healthcare, education, agriculture and social investment.

She say she don personally support several causes wit plenty donations.

"I remember say I give for TB. Wen I hear say so many TB cases dey, I bin give 2 billion naira. To breast cancer, I bin give one billion. For food malnutrition, I bin give half a billion.

"So dis na di tins wey we don dey, and make sure say whatever dis govment dey try do, e go see di light of day," she tok.

She also say dem don provide scholarships, ICT training opportunities and support for agricultural and social investment programmes.

"Di narrative don really change, don change to challenge di average man, whereas di average man suppose get hope. So I like di idea say Mr President say dis na Renewed Hope Agenda.

"We gatz renew our hope, and dat na how we renew our hope, you know, and dat na wetin I get to tell Nigerians," she tok.
