Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ - Common Name: Montbretia Tall perennial with strappy leaves and vivid scarlet flowers forming between June and September. It will grow to approximately 1.2m and eventually form a clump 30cm wide. Choisya ternata ‘Sundance’ - Common Name: Mexican Orange Blossom This versatile evergreen shrub only grows to approximately 1m high, making it ideal for mixed plantings, but will be available to us at 45cm in height and width. Its new growth is a lovely limey shade of green and develops white scented flowers in early summer. In the summer this perennial has striking salmon-pink flowers upon long stems. Coreopsis Grandiflora ‘Flying Saucers’ - Common Name: Tickweed This tender perennial has mid-green leaves and an abundance of eye catching bright yellow single flowers with fluted petals. It will grow to 40cm in height and spread to 60cm wide. Fuchsia ‘Thalia’ - Common Name: Ladies Eardrop This plant is not a hardy fuchsia and will require winter protection. It has grey/green leaves tinged with purple. In summer it is covered with very small rich orange/scarlet flowers. It will grow to 90cm in height and spread to 45cm. It grows to approximately 60cm high and will form a large clump if undivided. Lobelia ‘Hadspen Purple’ - Common Name: Lobelia Tall perennial with dark green foliage tipped with purple. Rich velvety purple flowers bloom all throughout the summer. It will grow to approximately 90cm and spread to 40cm. Physocarpus opuliflorus ‘Diablo D’Or’ - Common Name: Nine Bark This deciduous shrub has beautiful dark burgundy/brown textured foliage. New shoots are tinged with gold. It will grow to approximately 3m high and wide if left un-pruned, but will be available to us at 1m high and approximately 40cm wide. Phygeluis aequalis ‘Yellow Trumpet’ - Common Name: Cape Fuchsia This is an upright deciduous shrub that grows to approximately 1m high and wide. It has pale green leaves and long lemon trumpet like flowers in summer. It will be available to us at approximately 40cm high and 30cm wide. Athyrium niponicum ‘Ursula’s Red’ - Common Name: Japanese Painted Fern This is a beautifully striking fern with silver/grey fronds approximately 35cm long with a red/purple mid-rib. It will grow to 30cm high with indefinite spread. Dichondra ‘Silver Falls’ This vigorous annual only grows 8cm high but trails about 1m, creating a cascade resembling a silver waterfall, hence the name. It has soft fan shaped silver leaves and is extremely drought tolerant. Helianthus x multiflorus ‘Soliel D’Or - Common Name: Sunflower This perennial sunflower grows to approximately 1m high and forms a clump around 90cm wide. It has slightly hairy dark green leaves and eye catching bright yellow double flowers in late summer and early autumn. Helenium ‘Moerheim Beauty’ - Common Name: Helen’s Flower This tall perennial can grow up to 90cm high and will eventually form a clump 60cm wide. It has small dark green leaves and gives a fantastic flower display in late summer/early autumn. Each flower has a copper brown centre and deep orange/red petals tinged with yellow, beautiful! Spiraea japonica ‘ Goldflame’ This compact deciduous shrub only grows to 75cm high and wide, but it has a lot to offer for its small size. It will be available to us at 30cm high and wide. Its young foliage is bright yellow turning mid-green as it matures. In mid-late summer it bears clusters of pink flowers when highly attractive to bees. |
