Heavy rain and downpours this morning will clear south-eastwards by midday. Sunshine will develop behind these in the afternoon but also a few scattered showers, some heavy. A windy day.

Tonight

Staying windy and unsettled overnight with further scattered showers, patchy cloud and one or two clear breaks at times. A few showers will be heavy in spots.

Saturday

Little change tomorrow with brisk north-westerly winds bringing a feed of broken cloud and showers. These will once again be locally heavy but will become lighter and scarce by the evening. Cooler.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

A calm and settled day on Sunday with variable cloud and sunny spells. Turning overcast by the evening with a low chance of some light rain or drizzle. Monday morning will start overcast and damp but some late sunny spells are possible. Turning windier overnight into Tuesday with heavy rain in the morning clearing to sunshine by the afternoon.
