Staying windy and unsettled overnight with further scattered heavy showers and longer spells of rain in places. One or two isolated lightning strikes are not ruled out near the coasts.

Little change tomorrow with strong north-westerly winds bringing further spells of heavy rain, scattered showers and the odd rumble of thunder. One or two cloud breaks may also develop.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

A calm and settled day on Sunday with early hill fog lifting to variable cloud and sunshine later. Turning overcast by Monday morning with some local drizzle. Staying mostly cloudy for the rest of Monday but with drizzle easing away. Significantly windier overnight into Tuesday with heavy rain in the morning clearing to sunshine by the afternoon.
