  1. 'Fery has been brushed aside'published at 16:59 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 4-1 Fery

    John Lloyd
Former GB Davis Cup captain on BBC One

The Brit could never really get a hold of this match.

There was a period at the end of the second, start of the third where you thought maybe, but since that he has just been brushed aside.

  2. Postpublished at 16:59 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 4-1 Fery

Arthur Fery let out a huge scream in anger after putting into the net to hand over that break.

Can he get his emotions in check as he looks to hit back?

  3. 'Keys chose to receive and it really cost her'published at 16:59 BST

    *Anisimova 6-3 0-1 Keys

    Pam Shriver
Five-time Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

Madison Keys actually won the toss in this match - and that's the first decision a tennis player has to make when they walk out onto court. She chose to receive and I think that really cost her in that first set.

  4. Bergs leads by double break in fourth setpublished at 16:57 BST

Zizou Bergs gets it at the first time of asking when Arthur Fery puts into the net again.

Bergs has the finishing line in sight.

  5. Game and first set - Anisimovapublished at 16:57 BST

The first set has gone the way of last year's finalist Amanda Anisimova in the all-American contest on Centre Court.

The sixth seed got the crucial break at 4-3 and served it out to 30. Anisimova had 16 unforced errors to Madison Keys' eight in that set but also had more than twice as many winners.

  6. Double break point Bergspublished at 16:56 BST

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 3-1 Fery*

Zizou Bergs is threatening to wrap this match up in quick fashion now.

The Belgian sends Arthur Fery racing back behind the baseline with a lob and the Briton can only return into the net.

  7. Game and second set Zverevpublished at 16:55 BST

    Giron 2-6 6-7 (4-7) 0-0 Zverev*

Alexander Zverev continues to offer very little on serve as Marcos Giron goes into the net.

The German second seed then brings up four set points as Giron overcooks a forehand, and takes them at the third opportunity with a deft volley at the net.

It's a long way back for Giron from here.

  8. Bergs holdspublished at 16:53 BST

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 3-1 Fery*

It's another hold for Zizou Bergs as Arthur Fery powers a forehand a long way over the baseline.

The Belgian is looking very strong on serve again and will now look to put pressure on Fery as he hunts for the double break.

  9. Postpublished at 16:51 BST

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 2-1 Fery*

Arthur Fery gets the crowd on their feet with a brilliant passing shot to make it 15-15 on the Zizou Bergs serve.

Plenty more shots like that are going to be required if the Brit is to fight back in this one.

  10. 'Fery has to be ready'published at 16:51 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 2-1 Fery

    John Lloyd
Former GB Davis Cup captain on BBC One

It is tough for Fery to get into the rallies. He is straight away on the backfoot. He has to hang in there.

If there is a dip from Bergs, he has to be ready to take it and any opportunities that come his way.

  11. 'Bergs has been having easy service games'published at 16:49 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 2-1 Fery

    Greg Rusedski
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

Arthur Fery's second serve was punished again in that opening service game, he wasn't hitting his spots. The backhand side is also breaking down a little bit, he isn't willing to go deep enough in the rallies.

Zizou Bergs has been having easy service games because his first serve is so much bigger than Fery's and his serving percentage is so much better.

  12. Tie-breakpublished at 16:49 BST

    Giron 2-6 6-6 (2-4) Zverev*

With a bit of help from the net and some more big first serves, Alexander Zverev goes into the change of ends with a 4-2 lead.

  13. Fery holdspublished at 16:49 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 2-1 Fery

Much better from Arthur Fery as he goes up 30-0 with a strong first serve followed by a deft shot at the net.

Zizou Bergs is still returning superbly but there's nothing he can do as Fery hammers an ace down the T to get himself on the board in this fourth set.

  14. Bergs holds to lovepublished at 16:46 BST

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 2-0 Fery*

Big ace down the middle from Zizou Bergs and that completes the most comfortable of holds for the Belgian.

A crucial service game coming up for Arthur Fery.

  15. 'Giron has lifted his level'published at 16:46 BST

    *Giron 2-6 6-6 (0-0) Zverev

    Naomi Broady
Former British player on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

Marcos Giron has spent a lot more time in attack in this second set. His conversion rate has been clinical - he has won 23 of 25 points when he has been in attack.

Looking through the numbers and the stats it is Giron who has lifted his level, it isn't Alexander Zverev who has dropped off.

  16. 'About finding the balance'published at 16:45 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 1-0 Fery

    John Lloyd
Former GB Davis Cup captain on BBC One

You can see in that game, Fery now in his mind has to take the initiative and go for it more. But it didn't work on that one and it is about finding the balance.

  17. Tie-breakpublished at 16:45 BST

    *Giron 2-6 6-6 (0-0) Zverev

Alexander Zverev has half a chance at 30-30 but Marcos Giron holds his nerve with two strong first serves to hold.

Zverev then comfortably comes through his service game to take the second set to a tie-break.

  18. Bergs breakspublished at 16:44 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 1-0 Fery

A shake of the head from Arthur Fery as he pushes a backhand just wide.

An early break in the fourth set for Zizou Bergs. The Belgian is in control now.

What has Fery got left in the tank?

  19. Break points Bergspublished at 16:42 BST

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 0-0 Fery

Back under way on court 18 and Arthur Fery is quickly under a bit of pressure, down 15-30 on serve.

Make that 15-40. Two break points for Zizou Bergs.

  20. 'Fery has to keep with it'published at 16:40 BST

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 0-0 Fery*

    Kyle Edmund
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

If Arthur Fery is going to have any chance of winning this match, he needs to keep believing.

Best of five sets is something he isn't going to be used to, it is a different ball game both mentally and physically. There are waves of emotion, the momentum switches and the rhythm of the match changes.

It isn't over yet, he still has a chance. He has to keep with it, he can't let the momentum get away too much.
