Delta Goodrem is an internationally acclaimed Australian singer, songwriter, actress and television personality who has sold more than 9 million albums worldwide. Across her career, she has won three World Music Awards, 12 ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

Born in Sydney, Delta began performing at just seven years old, appearing in television adverts while learning piano, singing, dancing and acting. At 15, she signed her first record deal, before joining the cast of Australian soap Neighbours as shy schoolgirl and aspiring singer Nina Tucker. Her time on the show helped launch her music career, with her debut album Innocent Eyes going on to become one of Australia's biggest-selling albums.

In 2003, Delta was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma and took a break from her career to undergo treatment. After overcoming the illness, she returned to music with her second album, Mistaken Identity, which debuted at number one in Australia.

Delta has gone on to release seven studio albums, work with artists including Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, Robbie Williams and Andrea Bocelli, and serve as a coach on The Voice Australia for eight seasons. She has also starred in Cats and portrayed her friend and mentor Olivia Newton-John in the television biopic Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted to You.

In 2026, Delta represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with Eclipse, finishing fourth - Australia's second-best result in the contest's history. Her eighth studio album is due later this year, followed by a world tour in 2027.

Away from her many musical talents, Delta has a few Strictly-ready tricks up her sleeve. She can do the moonwalk and the splits, so she'll be hoping those skills come in handy when she takes to the dance floor!
