Dani Dyer is a television personality, presenter and author who first shot to fame after winning the fourth series of Love Island in 2018.

Born in East London, Dani moved to Essex with her family when she was 12. She discovered a love of dance from a young age, training in tap and modern dance at O’Farrell’s Dance School. After leaving school, she trained and worked as a dental nurse before turning her attention to television and entertainment.

In 2018, Dani entered the Love Island villa, where she quickly became a firm favourite with viewers. She later won the series with almost 80% of the final vote which made her star in her own spin-off show, Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island.

Dani has since built a successful career across television, documentaries, podcasts and publishing. She has regularly worked alongside her dad, actor Danny Dyer, including on Celebrity Gogglebox, Absolutely Dyer: Danny & Dani Do Italy and their podcasts Sorted with the Dyers and Live and Let Dyers. Her debut book, What Would Dani Do?, became a Sunday Times bestseller.

Dani is determined to make the most of her second Strictly chance after her first attempt ended before she could even perform. She’s already got her manifestation cards ready to put around the house, while her mother-in-law has a special good-luck tradition of buying her a bracelet before big challenges. Having climbed Kilimanjaro with Head Judge Shirley Ballas for Comic Relief, Dani certainly isn’t afraid of a challenge - and this time she’s hoping to make it all the way to the dance floor!
