Oyo State Govnor, Seyi Makinde confam say gunmen don kill di mathematics teacher wey dem kidnap among oda seven teachers and schoolchildren wey dem abduct for one school for Oriire Local Government Area.

On Friday, gunmen attack three schools for Ahoro-Esinele, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, southwest Nigeria.

Di terrorists wey ride motorcycle attack enta di community kidnap schoolchildren and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, and Yawota Baptist schools.

Local tori tok say dem kidnap 46 pipo, wey include seven teachers and 39 schoolchildren.

During one meeting wit tori pipo on Sunday evening, Govnor Makinde tok say terrorists don kill one of di seven teachers wey dem identify as mathematics teacher afta one video show di incident.

"Wetin we know right now be say dem don abduct seven teachers. Unfortunately, we get one video dis morning say di terrorists don kill one of di teacher, I understand say na di maths teacher, dis morning. Our prayer dey wit di family," di govnor tok.

Govnor Seyi Makinde tok say di dem go start to use both kinetic and non-kinetic approach to respond to di situation, and security agencies dey under pressure to rescue di remaining victims.

Di govnor beg di community leaders and religious bodies, including Baptist Convention, wey dey among di school wey dem attack.

"We don decide say we go use no be only kinetic approach. Some leaders, elders and religious elders especially from Baptist, wey dey among di school. I wan make appeal. We no take dis matta lightly. I dey appeal to everybody, citizens, residents, especially di local govment and di rest of Oyo States," Seyi Makinde tok.

"I wan make appeal say we go do everytin wey dey within our power to make sure say we resolve dis matta quickly and we go bring our children safely. But e no dey easy and e dey challenging," e tok.

"Abeg, we fit no get quick fix but we go kontinue to push ourselve beyond di limit to resolve di issue. We go dey brief tori pipo about dis matta eveery evening."

Oyo state govment close down some schools
