Athletics - men's 400m final
Samuel Ogazi was the man to beat - but no one could manage it!
The Nigerian had a fairly slow start but was right into his stride and hit the front just as they hit the final straight.
He streaks clear to win in 44.25 seconds, ahead of Jereem Richards of Trinidad and Tobago (44.82) and South Africa's Zakithi Nene (45.21).

A delighted Devall, who hails from Pontyclun, is also through to the next round after beating her opponent by an ippon.
Athletics - men's discus final
Yet another final is under way at Scotstoun, with England's Lawrence Okoye in the battle for the medals in the men's discus.
Australia's Matthew Denny is the gold medal favourite. We'll keep you up-to-date with this one as it progresses.

A first major senior medal for English boxer Sacha Hickey and it's a gold one!
The 22-year-old wins the first battle of the home nations of the day, defeating Northern Ireland's Kaci Rock, who takes silver.
Hickey takes a clean sweep 5-0 victory on points.

He sent the shot 10.54m with his third attempt to secure a first major medal at the age of 38.
South Africa's Nicolaas Strydom takes gold with a best of 10.94m and it's bronze for James Mangerere of Kenya after a PB of 10.34m.
Athletics - men's triple jump final

The 29-year-old, world indoor silver medallist earlier this year, went 16.72m with his fourth jump and that was enough to see off his two nearest challengers from India.
Praveen Chithravel takes silver with 16.58m and it's bronze for Selva Prabhu Thirumaran after a best jump of 16.52m.
Boxing - women's 65kg final
A home nations clash begins as Kaci Rock of Northern Ireland takes on England's Sacha Hickey in the women's 65kg final.

Team Wales' Ben Moore is through to the quarter-finals, beating his Sri Lankan opponent by an ippon.
Plenty of Welsh support for the 21-year-old judoka from Llanharan here at the SEC in Glasgow.
His next bout is scheduled for around midday.

So far, so good for the home nations in the last 16 of the men's -73kg judo.
England's Benjamin Levy, Joshua Green of Northern Ireland, Wales' Ben Moore and Scotland's Oliver Short have all won through.
So, too, has Ethan Nairne, another Englishman, after he beat Scotland's Daniel Pacitti.
Cycling - Men's sprint last 16

Of the six riders who made it through qualifying, only England's Harry Ledingham-Horn - bronze medallist in the men's keirin - progresses to the quarter-finals.
He beat Wales' Ioan Hepburn but his fellow Englishman Joseph Truman loses to Mohd Azizulhasni Awang of Malaysia.
Scotland's Peter Mitchell lost out to Trinidad and Tobago's Njisane Phillip.
It's your time to shine again then Mr Ledingham-Horn...
Boxing - women's 57kg final
Image source, Getty ImagesA great effort by Northern Ireland's Michaela Walsh but she comes up short on points against the women's 57kg world number one Jaismine Lamboria.
All five judges award India's Jaismine victory.
It is silver for 33-year-old Walsh, who won gold in the featherweight final in 2022.
Meanwhile, Jaismine takes gold - improving on her bronze medal at the last Commonwealth Games.
Boxing
Welsh duo Connor Williams and Orlando Holley-Sotomi will both fight for gold in Glasgow after winning their respective semi-finals.
Heavyweight Williams beat Northern Ireland's Garyn McAllister by unanimous decision in the 90kg competition.
Light-middleweight Holley-Sotomi beat Mauritian Merven Clair in the men's 70kg, also by unanimous decision.

The Kenyan's men steeplechase team achieved the same feat on Monday night.
Cycling - Men's sprint last 16
Well, that wasn't in the script.
England's Hamish Turnbull would've had his sights on challenging for a medal in the men's sprint but he's just gone out in the last 16.
Having qualified fourth fastest, he is somewhat surprisingly beaten by Canada's Tyler Rourke.
Scotland's Lyall Craig is also out - he lost to Australia's Tatye Ryan - and Wales' Steffan Lloyd was beaten by Nicholas Paul of Trinidad and Tobago.
Cycling - Men's sprint qualifying

England's Hamish Turnbull recorded the fourth quickest time with 9.639 and was 0.278 behind pace setter Leigh Hoffman of Australia.
Harry Ledingham-Horn and Joe Truman are also through for England, finishing sixth and eight respectively in qualifying.
Ioan Hepburn and Steffan Lloyd have qualified for Wales, while Scotland's Lyall Craig and Peter Mitchell also progressed.
The sprint races to reach the quarter-final have just begun.

We have 14 boxing finals coming up throughout the day, with seven of those in the early session, which is getting under way as we speak.
Eight home nations athletes - three each from England and Northern Ireland and two from Wales - are already guaranteed a silver but will hope to claim gold.
Home nations collide in three of the bouts with Kaci Rock (NI) taking on Sacha Hickey (ENG) in the women's 65kg.
Orlando Holley-Sotomi (WAL) meets Jon McConnell (NI) in the men's 75kg, while Connor Williams (WAL) and Isaac Okoh (ENG) will contest the 90kg final.
Elsewhere, Michaela Walsh (NI) will hope to bring home gold in the women's 57kg, as will England's Patris Mughalzai in the men's 65kg.
Men's 1500m T54 final

In fact, it's an England one-two with Daniel Sidbury taking silver, just ahead of Australia's Sam Rizzo.
