We asked for your views on Fulham's decision to release striker Raul Jimenez when his contract expires at the end of June, but offer a new deal to winger Harry Wilson.

Rob: Jimenez has been superb, a real favourite. It is a shame to see him go, we will miss him. Wilson won't be as much of a loss. Three months of quality out of five years won't be missed. It is a shame he couldn't have signed a one-year contract extension so we could command a fee for him.

Quinn: Jimenez has been brilliant, so my best wishes go to him. It would be great to keep Wilson. He hasn't been as 'on fire' since Wales failed to make the World Cup, but he will get his mojo back. He deserves to do whatever is best for him.

Aaron: I rate Jimenez, but I think if we are signing Ricardo Pepi from PSV then he is less needed. He is an incredible asset to the team, he is of Premier League quality and he takes a great penalty! We must keep Wilson. I'm hoping he has learned from coming from Liverpool himself and from what has happened to Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho. Going to a bigger team does not mean your career will progress or you will get much game time.

John: Here we go again - moving good committed players on and bringing players in on the last day of the transfer window!

Robert: I would've loved Jimenez to get another year as he has been fantastic for Fulham, but we do need to bring younger players into the club. Wilson is different, he is a very important player who can create a goal from nothing. However, it has to be said, the last year of his contract was the best of the five years he has been at Fulham.

Striker Raul Jimenez is set to leave Fulham when his contract expires at the end of June - though the Whites have offered a new deal to winger Harry Wilson.

Jimenez, 35, has scored 31 goals in 115 for Fulham since joining from Wolves in 2023.

The Mexico international, who is preparing for the World Cup in North America, is one of 14 players expected to leave Craven Cottage. Others on the list with first-team experience are Steven Benda and Devan Tanton.

Wilson, 29, joined Fulham initially on loan from Liverpool in 2021 and enjoyed an impressive 2025-26 campaign, ending as the Whites' top scorer with 10 goals in 36 league games.

We asked for your views on what one thing needs to change at Fulham before the new campaign and why.

Here are some of your comments:

Paul: Sign Kieran McKenna and Liam Delap - the two most underrated men in the Premier League.

Graham: I feel that we need a new manager that will put some fire back into the side. We have some good players that need a manager to push them to believe in themselves and win more games. If available, Thomas Frank would be a good fit, closely followed by Oliver Glasner or Mauricio Pochettino. Either of these managers would certainly want to bring in a centre forward that would could improve our scoring abilities. Come on you Whites, win a trophy next season.

Oliver: We need a manager and a striker, Thomas Frank and Ivan Toney would do for starters.

Dave: For a start we need an experienced manager, preferably one that's managed in the Premier League! Two new midfielders, two new strikers, two full-backs! Unload Smith Rowe, Harrison Reed, see if we can get a good price for Andersen and replace with another class centre-back. We may have a chance of Europe next season.

Andy: Urgency. We do everything slowly every year. Recruitment, negotiations, even releasing the new kit. I have no idea why we're consistently the slowest club in the league to get anything done, but we are and every summer we end up with new players not being able to start games until October because they arrived too late to be up to speed.

Bob: All respect to Kieran McKenna but we need the best proven Premier League manager we can get. We also need to get these players' contracts that have expired sorted urgently. No point in waiting and then losing them. We do need to freshen the side up in some positions. Again, not waiting, do the groundwork now. There are some very good players being made available now.

Robert: We desperately need a forward who will get 15-plus goals a season. We also need a player who can make goals and score a few as well. If we can get two such players and replace Silva with a more attacking manager, we will be fine next season.

Which clubs have the most players?

Looking just at the 20 clubs that made up the 2025-26 Premier League, only this season's top three have more players at the World Cup than Conference League winners Crystal Palace (12).

Including players out on loan over the season, Sunderland remarkably have as many representatives on the global stage as Chelsea and Liverpool (11), showing just how globe-trotting their recruitment was following promotion last summer.

The majority of Brentford, Everton and Leeds' squads can put their feet up and recharge their batteries for next season, with those clubs sending just four players each.

Following the news of Marco Silva's exit, we wanted to know who you would like to become Fulham's next head coach.

Whether the hierarchy pick a free agent or someone already tied to a club, it looks like they will have "big boots to fill" at Craven Cottage.

Here are some of your picks:

Robert: We need someone with Premier League experience. It would be lovely if it was Oliver Glasner, but I think that is highly unlikely. Honestly, I think Mauricio Pochettino would be a great fit - obviously after the World Cup.

Nigel: There has been a rumour doing the rounds that Pochettino is a Fulham fan. He has been seen at the Cottage a few times, and has even been seen talking to Shahid Khan, which may be explained by him being a Fulham fan if that's actually true. But, either way, if there is any chance of getting him - Fulham fan or not - that would be a pretty high-quality appointment, I reckon!

Tim: Glasner would be a dream, but I can't think why he would be attracted to Fulham. Thomas Frank's football would work with our squad, but the fans won't like it. We should avoid Liam Rosenior. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be an interesting, left-field pick, if he can be convinced it is a worthwhile project.

Mark: How about Arne Slot?

Martyn: Khan said: "We will soon appoint a new leader in a timely but deliberate manner, who will meet the expectations of our fans throughout the world." That can only mean one thing - Scott Parker is coming back.

Russ: Big boots to fill. Let's hope the club uses this moment to take a step forward and not a step backwards.

Sam: A Premier League-proven appointment is a must, for both stability and a higher chance of going one step further (European qualification). A post-World Cup Pochettino would be my pick!

Morgan: Fulham should sign Glasner. He has proven himself with Palace and if Khan and the board is truly ambitious to take Fulham to the next level - this would be a significant signal of intent.

Fulham owner Shahid Khan has promised fans the club will look to appoint a new manager "in a timely but deliberate manner", following the announcement of Marco Silva's departure.

The billionaire promised to take the Cottagers to "the next level" after purchasing the club from Mohamed Al Fayed in purchasing the club from Mohamed Al Fayed in July 2013.

After a few seasons bouncing between the Premier League and the Championship, the club has sustained its top-flight status since promotion in 2021-22 under Silva.

In a statement published by Fulham, external, Khan said: "Marco Silva leaves our club with my gratitude and best wishes.

"We were an excellent fit for five seasons, but change is inevitable in this game and we have accordingly prepared for this moment.

"The talent in our squad, our historic home ground of Craven Cottage, our faithful supporters and my commitment to backing the club, all make Fulham an extraordinarily attractive destination for an incoming head coach.

"We will soon appoint a new leader in a timely but deliberate manner, who will meet the standards of our club and expectations of our fans throughout the world."

Marco Silva has said "Fulham will always be in my heart" as it was announced he will leave the club following a five-year stay at Craven Cottage.

The head coach joined the Cottagers on a three-year contract upon their relegation to the Championship in July 2021, before securing their immediate return to the Premier League in April 2022.

With his current deal set expire this month, the 48-year-old has decided to move on, and is close to an agreement with Benfica.

In an open letter published by Fulham, external, Silva said: "After five years, our journey together comes to an end. I leave with a feeling I was told when I first arrived - that Fulham is a family.

"The players will be left with great memories and moments that we shared together through our hard work.

"To our fans - I asked you from day one to always be with us and that is what you did these past five years. We achieved a lot together.

"My staff and I always felt your support. It will never be forgotten.

"Fulham will always be in my heart and, sooner or later, I will be back at Craven Cottage."

We asked for your views on the news that Fulham head coach Marco Silva is close to reaching an agreement to take charge at Benfica.

Here are some of your replies:

Quinn: Marco has been great. But like everything, including football, people move on. He'll be missed, but like all previous managers he'll be respected and always welcomed back. I will follow his future career with interest. Don't expect, believe. All the best to him.

Jordan: An incredible servant who returned us to where we belong, and very nearly returned us to European football. He will be missed but I am glad to see an end to the saga. Now the big question: who next?

Henry: We all love Silva at Fulham but this cloud of uncertainty has been hanging over the club for months. Wish him well at Benfica but let's move on already!

Oscar: It's important to remember before Marco took over we had just suffered our third relegation in the past five years. He's been our best manager since Roy Hodgson and he will be missed. However, keeping the club in the dark over his future, which was reflected in our end of season performances, was difficult to take. Just hope the owners appoint the right replacement but history proves they've had more failures than successes when it comes to recruitment.

Jake: Will go down as the manager that gave Fulham Premier League stability, but also a 'what if' with promising cup runs and just missing out on Europe. Had he had more financial backing maybe we could have made it in Europe and, who knows, maybe even a trophy. Wish him well - just wish he had announced his decision sooner. Most Fulham fans feel he has strung the club along knowing he always intended to leave.

Dan: I appreciate everything Marco has done for the club. He had taken us from yo-yoing to an established Premier League side who finish comfortably safe every year. But I feel he has disrespected the club a bit by allowing this to drag on for so long. I accept we will probably act as a stepping stone for players and managers to move on from to better things, but if you have decided you want to move on then say it and go - don't leave us waiting just in case nothing comes along immediately. Let the club move on and plan for whatever is next. I can accept being a stepping stone. I don't accept being a back-up option.

David: If proven to be true, Silva leaves with nothing but thanks and admiration from the fans. However, I do think the time is right for change... he's got us as far as I think he can. Sadly, I do feel that Harry Wilson won't be far behind...

Milo: Silva has not always been perfect but the negative sentiment around him by Fulham fans is too far. We never replaced Aleksandar Mitrovic and last summer, Fulham's first permanent arrival came in September. Silva did a remarkable job and is single-handedly responsible for taking Fulham from yo-yo club to Premier League mainstay.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva is close to reaching an agreement to take charge at Benfica.

Silva's contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire this month but as yet there has been no official confirmation of the 48-year-old's exit.

Fulham have offered their Portuguese boss a contract renewal but he is yet to accept.

Silva joined Fulham in July 2021 and guided them back to the Premier League in his first season, following the club's relegation to the Championship a year earlier.

The Cottagers finished 11th in the top flight last season, level on 52 points with Chelsea.

We asked for your views on which players Fulham should sign from the three relegated Premier League sides Wolves,Burnley and West Ham United.

Here are some of your comments:

Aaron: From West Ham, I'd look at Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mateus Fernandes (but think he'll go to a top side), Crysencio Summerville and, as we need a forward, Taty Castellanos! From Wolves, I would look at Mateus Mane as he's a great youngster and Jose Sa would also give Bernd Leno a run for his money!

Daniel: I feel it's a little obvious, but Jarrod Bowen would be perfect for Fulham.

Mark: Bowen and Fernandes from West Ham would be great, but are both unlikely to choose Fulham over the other offers they will get. Summerville might be tempted, though. Zian Flemming from Burnley, who managed to score 11 goals in a Scott Parker side, would be handy as would the youngster Mane from Wolves. Just avoid James Ward-Prowse, who seems to be some sort of relegation specialist.

Gordon: Fulham should get stuck in and bring Flemming in from Burnley. Fernandes from West Ham and Bowen too - although highly unlikely. Joao Gomes from Wolves and, if Marco Silva goes, get Nuno from West Ham too.

Tim: Honestly I would not sign anyone from the relegated teams. The few players who might improve our first XI will be picked up by the clubs who can offer European football. We would be better off focusing on rehabilitating careers, that's our niche.

Bernard: Flemming from Burnley.

The curtain has officially come down on the 2025-26 Premier League season.

Players will depart and squads will be strengthened when the summer transfer window opens on Monday, 15 June.

Season score out of 10 and overriding emotion?

4/10. It has to be because of the immense disappointment. Marco Silva told the media this season was the opportunity to add the "cherry on top" of his reign. But we never really looked close. Our best run came during the period everyone tipped us to struggle - when we were missing our Nigerian trio of Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Samu Chukwueze during Afcon. But it gave us false hope; our results throughout the campaign have been a level below Brighton, Bournemouth and, dare I say it, Brentford.

Best moment and why?

Harry Wilson putting Chelsea to the sword in January. Our Welsh wizard will be remembered for coming up clutch in derbies (Brentford fans wake in cold sweats thinking about him). After waiting so long for an SW6 derby win, beating the Blues is starting to feel more familiar.

Player of season and why?

There hasn't been a lot of sustained individual brilliance. Wilson looked nailed on in March but he has tailed off significantly. I would give it to Ryan Sessegnon, despite his comparative lack of minutes. He performed admirably in place of the injured and below-par Antonee Robinson for most of the campaign, and if we had 10 more players with his drive and commitment, we might be dusting off our passports.

Unsung hero and why?

Raul Jimenez. A bargain for £5m and he keeps delivering. An injury to Rodrigo Muniz early in the campaign meant the 35-year-old played a lot more minutes than intended, but he has scored 10 goals - many of them match-winners. Lord knows where we would have finished without them.

Biggest disappointment?

Chukwueze. The Nigeria winger started strongly, leading many to implore Fulham to make his loan deal permanent. But he came back from Afcon a different man, and has done nothing to suggest he should stay next term.

What needs to change this summer?

Silva - because he looks to have hit his ceiling at the club. Stability is great, but this squad should be doing more than treading water. So if he stays - which is a big if - he would do well to mix things up a bit.

Major hope for next season?

Qualifying for Europe. With more places up for grabs than ever before, and with comparatively sized clubs achieving the European dream, we are all becoming increasingly confused and frustrated as to why we are not doing the same.

Now the curtain has come down on the 2025-26 Premier League campaign, here is my end-of-season review - with a look back to what I predicted in August.

Prediction: 14th

Fulham are now very much in a Premier League holding pattern. There is not much up and not much down - they just have a very stable presence under the excellent stewardship of Marco Silva.

He has been key but his future is in doubt as he comes to the end of his contract, while the same applies to Harry Wilson, who has made such an excellent contribution at Craven Cottage.

What I said in August: "This will be another season of stability for Fulham under the tactically astute Silva. Mid-table perhaps."

We asked for your views on Fulham's victory over Newcastle on the final day of the season which could also have been Marco Silva's last game in charge of the club.

Here are some of your comments:

Kevin: Silva has been a perfect fit for Fulham, but I'm in two minds about him staying. Our football has become a bit predictable and side-to-side with no obvious striker. The chairman has to back him with new players, especially a striker if he decides to stay.

Dennis: This was a decent game in hot temperatures. Fulham deservedly ahead at half time. They flew out of the traps in the second half and were galvanized by a wonderful display from Tom Cairney. He was the best player on the pitch by a mile and scored a brilliant 25-yarder to seal an excellent win.

Geoff: Every team needs a goal scorer, but Fulham more than most. Without one even 11th may be beyond them next season, with or without Silva.

Phil: Fulham were excellent. It's a shame they didn't play like that more often this season.

Guy: Great game with a brilliant Cairney goal. So frustrating to think that just one goal against an already relegated Wolves would have meant European football, but I guess mid-table Premier League still beats playing in the second tier. Hope this summer we sort our squad early rather then late, and that means the manager situation has to be sorted pronto.

An end of term feeling, if ever there was one.

Neither side had much to play for, with the chance for European football next season having long gone. Fulham just seemed to want it a bit more.

They took a first-half lead thanks to the head of Issa Diop, who followed in from Kevin's free-kick that crashed off the bar.

Newcastle started the second half more brightly, following the introduction of Harvey Barnes, but that energy soon fizzled away again and Fulham substitute Tom Cairney doubled their lead with an absolute screamer.

There has of course been speculation about the future of Marco Silva, who will soon be out of contract.

If he is to leave after five years at Craven Cottage, at least he leaves on a winning note.
