If Palace keep a clean sheet, it will be their second in two games in 2026-27.

Last time they were in the WSL, in 2024-25, they kept two clean sheets in 22 matches.

Kim Little replaces Mariona Caldentey, who has not had her best day. Too many spurned chances from the Spaniard.

Caitlin Foord is also on, replacing Lisa Baum who once again looked like a real prospect for this season.

We've seen a little bit of a change here, Palace have been able to get themselves higher up the pitch.

That might have been their plan, to sit deep for 60 minutes, get Arsenal frustrated and then really go for it.

Count the sub windows for Palace. One down, two to go.

Whatever happens today, we can safely say Palace look much better prepared for WSL life than they did two seasons ago. Much more solid, much more determined.
