Exeter have ridden the storm quite well.

Plymouth are more comfortable on the ball, they have had more possession.

The pace of the game has dropped a touch and Exeter have calmed things down and begun to venture past the halfway line a bit more themselves.

Dean Whitestone takes a wonderful touch on the chest in the centre circle as the ball is fizzed into him. Drops it on a sixpence.

Pre-season game? Never. This is being played like it's Boxing Day. Wonderful stuff.

Bim Pepple might be in the shop window and he's doing everything he can, doing all the dirty work under aerial balls and bringing others into play, and he almost got on the end of a peach of a cross from Alex Hartridge on the left, though the flag had gone up for offside.

Argyle keeper Murphy Cooper flies out of his box to head clear a bouncing ball under pressure from Jayden Wareham, but the Exeter man can't get out of the way and there's a big collision.

Thankfully both are okay to continue.

Great break from his own box from Exeter's fleet-footed Andrew Oluwabori as he blazes all the way to midfield but Taylor Perry loses his bearings on the right flank and concedes a throw-in.
