Ten-man Tottenham beat Chelsea with an added time Richarlison goal to win the Sydney Super Cup, having seen Kevin Danso sent off just three minutes after coming on at half-time.

Brazilian striker Richarlison tapped in from close range in the 92nd minute after Spurs midfielder Jamie Donley hit the post with a long-range effort, ending a sustained period of Chelsea pressure following Danso's dismissal for pulling down striker Joao Pedro.

Earlier, £100m midfielder Sandro Tonali, signed from Newcastle, scored his first goal for Tottenham with a deflected 20-yard shot in the 17th minute. Estevao Willian equalised four minutes later for Chelsea by heading a far post cross.

Jorrel Hato: Also involved in a physical battle, but the goal came down his side and he gifted Mathys Tel an early chance. 5

Dario Essugo: The Portugal Under-21s international gave the ball away for Spurs' goal. 5

Romeo Lavia: The Belgian looked accomplished in midfield, which was promising given how little football he has played. 6

Cole Palmer: Moments of amazing passing but without delivering the decisive moment. 6

Estevao Willian: The Brazilian did well to get in behind and head home while hitting the bar early in the second half. 7

Jamie Gittens: Did well to drive at Archie Gray and delivered a fine cross for the goal. 7

Joao Pedro: Involved in a physical battle with former Brighton team-mate Jan Paul van Hecke, with whom he had a training-ground bust-up in May. Excellent in building up the play. 7

Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli: Didn't make any errors - the biggest compliment to pay the 16-year-old, making the most high-profile appearance of his young career. 6

Andrew Robertson: The Scotland international, signed from Liverpool, looked a little sloppy on his first pre-season start and made a poor chested pass midway through the first half that almost led to a Chelsea goal. 5

Lucas Bergvall: The Swede was guilty of giving the ball away for Chelsea's goal and it will not have impressed his manager, who is challenging him to prove he can play ahead of the club's expensive new midfielders. 5

Sandro Tonali: The Italian was an impressive presence in midfield and struck a clean effort from range to beat Sharman-Lowe. 7

Conor Gallagher: A typical Gallagher performance, breaking up play and providing plenty of physicality. He should have won a penalty but for a poor refereeing decision. 7

Manor Solomon: The Israeli set up the opening goal with a well-weighted cut-back. 6

Mathys Tel: The attacker was excellent in the first half, taking the game to Chelsea and almost scoring a spectacular goal after beating three players. 7

Dominic Solanke: Produced an impressive display, linking play effectively and providing a presence in the box, but was unable to create any clear chances for himself. 7
