How Estêvão has not got on the pitch tonight I do not know.

He must be thinking, what do I have to do? We have injuries to two of the star players up front and I'm still not getting on the pitch.

    Chelsea

Chelsea's Morgan Rogers, speaking to ITV Sport: "It is probably the worst way to lose a game.

"It was an even game and at times we had the better of it. I had half chances that I'd have liked to have put away.

"It was one of them that can go either way and you have to accept it."

From Liverpool's perspective it's a big sigh of relief in terms of getting over the line in that penalty shootout.

It really shouldn't be that difficult to hit the target from 12 yards. Having a "bad" penalty saved is one thing, but missing the target altogether is criminal.

Absolutely brilliant drama at the end. A combination of some really good penalties and some not so good penalties. The keepers pulling off saves as well, but again, the game was played in a really good spirit.

Two teams that faced it in exactly the way that you would want them to and really went all out to win the game.

    Brilliant entertainment!

You hate to see a team lose in a situation like that, but it's a disappointing penalty from Wesley Fofana.

I didn't like the run up, and he clears it, he clears the crossbar by miles.

    A really enjoyable game.

Some very good penalties in there, but also some dreadful ones.

Liverpool extend their penalty shoot-out record against Chelsea - winning all five they have had with them.
