Peterborough have scored five goals in two games since Robbie Savage took over
Robbie Savage's first home league game in charge of Peterborough ended in a dramatic draw against Burton.
It looked like Gbemi Arubi's 89th-minute wonder strike from the halfway line had earned Albion a first win in three games, but Matt Garbett responded with a leveller in the sixth minute of stoppage time to snatch Posh a point.
Savage's side got off to the perfect start as Owura Edwards tapped home Harry Leonard's cross in the second minute.
Matthew Dennis hit a post for Burton before Posh captain Carl Johnston missed a golden chance in an action-packed opening.
Edwards blazed over another good opportunity, but the Brewers were soon level through Charlie Webster's deflected strike.
Leonard almost capitalised on Finn Delap's poor backpass at the start of the second period, while Johnston and Liam Kelly had shots blocked and saved respectively.
Arubi, who saw an effort fly wide earlier in the half, hit a stunning strike from the centre circle to put Burton ahead, only for Garbett to level with a last-gasp rebound.
