That literally was the last kick of the game.

Arsenal had to come from behind but they did just that, the mark of champions? They close the gap on Manchester City but still sit second on goal difference.

That after I defended James Trafford earlier.

Last chance saloon for Leeds now.

  5. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

Wow. A massive let off for James Trafford.

He comes right off his line and out of his 18-yard box to try to deal with the long ball but Victor Gyokeres has him really under pressure and Trafford is left scrambling to get back on his line. Luckily for him he does that and is back in time to deny Bukayo Saka.

Amazing what happens when you attack with purpose instead of passing side to side and recycling slowly huh?

  9. 'Arsenal have that depth'published at 14:18 BST

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

    Joe Cole
Former Chelsea and England midfielder on TNT Sports

Leeds look like they've ran out of ideas. It's what champions do and Arsenal have got the squad depth. They've got the quality and they all work hard for each other.

  10. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

The ball just gets away from Bruno Guimaraes and Leeds almost make a mess of the clearance but they get it up the other end of the field eventually.

The hopes of an attack don't last long as Declan Rice thumps clear.

  12. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

It looked pretty good for Leeds for just over five minutes of this second half but an equaliser seems unlikely now. Barely any action since James Justin's goal has been in the Arsenal half.

  16. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

How has that not gone in?!

It was beautiful skill from Declan Rice at the back post, shifting the ball from one foot to the other to wrongfoot his marker and keep the ball alive close to the byline.

Martin Odegaard is arriving and all he needs to do is finish from two yards but somehow James Trafford gathers.

As good a team as we are, Arsenal have been crying out for an X-factor player for years...Bruno is definitely one of those.

    Steve, Rome

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

Good work in a tight space from Jurrien Timber but Bukayo Saka's cross is blocked.

Equalising goalscorer Riccardo Calafiori is replaced by Piero Hincapie.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 80 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

Bit of a mix up with the Leeds substitutions here.

Gabriel Gudmundsson thought he was being brought off but Daniel Farke waves his finger for him to get back on the pitch.

It is in fact James Justin who makes way for Lukas Nmecha.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 79 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 Leeds United

Bruno Guimaraes is held up by James Justin in the middle of the field and the Leeds man knows that he's heading into Paul Tierney's book for that.
