With the growing trend of keepers standing up to seamers, and hence the risk of more byes vs potential of more wickets, will "minimise byes" cease to be a measure of a keeper's performance?

Good fielding in the deep prevents the boundary and Robinson goes back to the fuller balls that have served him so well. A couple of nice away swingers to end the over.

He's taken just one wicket this series, at 125, but he has bowled a whole lot better than that.
That's the way it goes sometimes and he'll be hoping his luck turns in this match.

The more I see of this England team, the more impressed I am. They exude confidence, despite the odd dropped catch. They give the impression of being around for a while.

There's four to help edge Pakistan closer to their lowest ever Test score. Byes as Ollie Robinson errs down the leg side, the ball just flicking the gloves of Jamie Smith, who continues up to the stumps.
A thick edge then brings Saud Shakeel couple more as rain begins to fall at Edgbaston. Let's hope it's nothing more than a passing shower.

We are firmly in the territory of looking up Pakistan's lowest totals now aren't we?
Pakistan's lowest total in Tests is the 49 they were bowled out for against South Africa in February 2013. Their lowest in England is the 72 they were dismissed for on this ground in August 2010.

Pakistan are really low on confidence.
Babar Azam is in at five and turns his third ball around the corner to get off the mark with a couple.
He just about jams his bat down in time to keep out Ollie Robinson's last delivery.
