Germany should pay reparations to Herero and Nama peoples

An activist from the Landless People's Movement says Germany’s genocide apology is the first wrong that has been fixed.

Germany's official acknowledgement of the massacre of tens of thousands of Herero and Nama people during its colonial occupation of what is now Namibia, is just the first step in atoning for past wrongs, according to an activist.
