Kenyan doctor wins recognition from WHO
Dr Jemimah Kariuki picked up the WHO award for her care of pregnant women during lockdown.
Jemimah Kariuki, who works as a doctor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Nairobi, was awarded the 2021 WHO Global Health Award after her work caring for pregnant women during Covid-19 curfew restrictions.
