"Dem murder Bishop Taiwo Michael Fakunle, for im house for Kensington, Johannesburg, on Friday, 04 September 2026; and dem kill Mr. James Uchechukwu Nwankwo, from gruesome interrogation techniques by di Officers of di South African Police Service (SAPS) for Sommerset, Cape Town, on 05 September, 2026."

Nigeria govment say dem receive dis incidents wit grave concern and dem condemn di killings of Bishop Fakunle and Mr Nwankwo for di strongest terms possible.

Dis dey come as Nigerians and oda African nationals dey face deportation threats for South Africa.

"E dey extremely worrisome say law enforcement agents, wey get di responsibility of securing lives and property, dey make situation wey already no good , worse and e na unacceptable interrogation techniques wey dey always lead to di deaths of foreigners," Nigeri Foreign ministry tok.

Nigeria govment dey call on di relevant South African authorities to immediately start to chook eye and begin transparent investigations into di circumstances wey dey surrounding dis two killings.
