Wildfires are affecting people in the UK and other parts of Europe, as a result of intense heatwaves sweeping the continent this summer.
One country where wildfires happen a lot is Australia. Thousands of wildfires burn there every year and the damage is often catastrophic.
My Life went to meet two young people there, Tallarah and Niko, who are training to become qualified volunteer firefighters.
Remember: you should never approach a fire yourself. The young people in this film are trained by professionals to tackle fires.
