Countryfile: Westacre - An Old Estate in a Modern World

Countryfile
Joe Crowley, Datshiane Navanayagam and Adam Henson head to Westacre Estate in Norfolk to discover how a historic rural estate is adapting to survive in the modern world.
At a financially critical time of year, Datshiane looks at one of the estate's most valuable yet vulnerable crops, blueberries, and meets the estate owner to find out how traditional estates are diversifying and evolving to secure their future.
Joe joins the conservation team as they work to restore an important area of wet woodland, boosting biodiversity and creating habitats for wildlife. He also visits a tenant brewery and lends a hand to craft a local ale.
Meanwhile, Adam meets the estate's farm manager, who is looking at ways to help run the land in a more cost-effective way through collaboration between livestock and arable farming.
