Series Four, Episode Eight: CORINTHIAN DIES

First aired 15th February 2004

Two Pints

Janet has had enough and, feeling she's fallen out of love with Jonny, decides to leave him. She puts a note on the kitchen table. Gaz plays the vengeful cuckold when he suspects Louise's boyfriend - Antipodean student David - tried to cop off with Donna on top of the castle.

Jonny and Gaz are so busy plotting revenge on David and mourning Gaz's relationship that they fail to notice Janet's 'Dear Jonny' letter, largely because it now resembles a paper aeroplane.

Janet, hoping for somewhere to stay and a sympathetic ear from Louise is sorely mistaken; all Louise can talk about is ensuring David returns to her. Gaz calls upon Louise for help and they hatch a cunning plan for revenge on Donna and David. David agrees to date Louise again, only for her to instantly dump him and feel cleansed!

Gaz and Donna make up only for her to drop a bombshell - she wants to go to university and David's going to help her. Meanwhile, Jonny unravels his paper hat in order to read Janet's letter and realises his world has collapsed.
