Making career decisions
Making choices about your career and getting into the world of work can be daunting, especially when job vacancies are at a five-year low. Where do you start? Well, you're in the right place!
Check out the content below to see how Bitesize Careers can help you figure out your next steps.
Questions to ask yourself to find your future job
Award-winning career coach, Mark Anderson, spoke to Bitesize Careers to suggest five questions to ask yourself to find your future job. They are:

- What difference do I want to make through my work?
- What's important to me when it comes to work? (What are my values?)
- What skills do I want to use?
- What are the job prospects like, both now and in the future, for the industries I'm interested in?
- Who can help me find more information and advice?
Jotting down your thoughts in response to these questions could help give you a good starting point to help shape your plans for work.
Remember, as Mark says: "One key thing to remember is that what you do next doesn't have to define you forever – it's just one step in a long career that you're going to have."
