Part ofStudy support

We've enlisted The Revision Guys to run a bootcamp on how to use AI for your homework to get the best results. Watch the videos below for tips on using prompts, fact checking sources and using Bitesize to support your learning.

What is AI?

AI can be excellent for helping you with general overviews of subjects or the first stages of research. But it's important to always fact check what AI tells you.

How to make sure AI is giving you the right information

When using AI for homework, you may come across inaccurate information or something that doesn't look quite right. It's important to check which sources the AI model is gathering information from and check if it's legit. One way to improve accuracy is to ask AI to use Bitesize as the only source.

Using prompts: dos and don'ts

Using prompts well can improve the accuracy and relevance of the responses that AI can give you.

  • Be specific and avoid using generic language.
  • Tell the AI what your exam board is to get even more specific responses.
  • Ask for responses in specific formats, like bullet points or short paragraphs.

Top tips for using AI for homework

  • Don't rely on AI. Use it as a complimentary tool to aid your revision.
  • Always fact check the AI responses and check the sources to make sure the information is correct.
  • Use Bitesize study pages to gain a better understanding of your subjects through a variety of quizzes, videos, podcasts and more.
