| | If you’re a larger woman who is sick of seeing images of stick thin women in magazines and on the TV, then a website called Full Fat Female could be right up your street.

The website is written by a larger lady for larger ladies. The site celebrates accepting women for who they are, and disregards the typical view that all women should be thin and look a certain way. Katrina's Story
The creator of the website is Staffordshire's own Katrina Austin, who has battled the bulge for as long as she can remember. This has got her into lots of funny situations which she shares on her site.
Due to a spinal injury in her mid twenties, she is now also wheelchair user, but her humour is infectious!
 At her largest Katrina (pictured left with the Chippendales) was 30 stone, so can certainly relate to the good, the bad and the humorous sides of being "big boned".
Her biography is both moving and amusing as she shares intimate tales of cabbage soup diets, dancing with the Chippendales and get getting stuck in teeny weenie public toilet cubicles. Interact & meet new friends!
Although Katrina owns the site other women are encouraged to contribute.
You can e-mail various message boards and give you opinions on burning ‘fat issues’ such as ‘should people under a size 14 be able to work in shops selling clothes for the larger woman.’
There is a page where you can leave info about yourself and your contact details so you can hook up with other women of a similar size and a similar mind set to yourself. What a great way to make friends with women who share your interests and life experience!

There is also lots of fun/silly stuff.
There are jokes about fat people and fat issues - don’t forget to e-mail the site with your own fat jokes, fat phrases and fat poems. There are hilarious fat related cartoons and photographs and paintings from those artists and photographers who use curvy women as their subject matter.

There is also a page dedicated to larger famous females who enjoy living life to the full.

However, while the site is mainly light hearted, the Full Fat Facts section of the site provides crucial information and help line details for those women suffering from eating disorders.
End of lectures
 If you are a larger woman this site could well be for you.
There are no diets, no healthy eating plans, no exercise regimes and no one sitting in judgement over you.
Just females living life to the full…FAT.
