Forget the Royal Box! The Princess of Wales, dressed in blue, has just made her way into the stands of Court 18 and is sitting among the punters!

Meanwhile, Otto Virtanen has held serve to 15 and we're getting ever closer to a first-set tie-break.

Fery does everything very well. He has got very solid groundstrokes. The serve isn't the most powerful, but the accuracy to get back behind the ball and the strike is so key to his game.

He is willing to come to the net, which is not something you see every day with players. It shows you how confident and skilled he is.

Another hold for Arthur Fery, who is into the second round of a Grand Slam for the third time in his career.

Earlier this year, he upset Flavio Cobolli in round one of the Australian Open. Cobolli reached the final of the next major, the French Open, last month.

Elsewhere, both Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur are both a break up in the first set of their second-round matches against Patrick Kypson and Adrian Mannarino respectively.

A disappointed groan from Arthur Fery as he plants a volley into the net to give up the game.

Fery is like 'I'm here, I'm confident, I back myself, I know what I want to do on court'.

Every shot he has hit has been on its merit; if it is there to respect and defend he does that, if it is there to take on he is doing that as well.

Arthur Fery is looking very solid on serve - just the one point dropped in his latest hold.

I am so impressed by how many returns Fery is putting back in play. Virtanen has got a big serve and is getting aces, but there are plenty of balls going back in play off the return.

    *Fery 3-3 Virtanen

Otto Virtanen holds serve again with some difficulty - he's been taken to deuce in every one of his service games so far.

In contrast, Arthur Fery has lost only one point on serve so far and that was a double fault in the first game.

  10. 'Upset the opponent's rhythm'published at 11:33 BST

    Fery 3-2 Virtanen*

    Kyle Edmund

On Arthur Fery often changing his return position...

Players will do that just to give the opposition different looks. Sometimes you do it to help yourself and give yourself more time, but if you give your opponent different looks, it upsets their rhythm.

That humongous 139mph serve by Otto Virtanen fizzed a tad too close to the media seats for my liking. That would do some damage.

  14. Fery holdspublished at 11:28 BST

    Fery 3-2 Virtanen*

Another quick hold by Arthur Fery, who is at a career-high world ranking of 114th at the moment and is inching closer to the top 100.

A win today will certainly help his cause.

  16. Virtanen saves break points to holdpublished at 11:25 BST

    *Fery 2-2 Virtanen

Encouraging signs for Arthur Fery, who looks to have the better of Otto Virtanen when the points go longer than a couple of shots.

Trouble is that Virtanen picks up a lot of points with that huge serve and he completes the hold with an ace.

  17. Virtanen saves break pointpublished at 11:21 BST

    Fery 2-1 Virtanen*

Otto Virtanen produces some more massive serves but when Arthur Fery can extend the points, he is getting some success.

Virtanen goes long on deuce to give Fery a first break point of the match, but Fery can't take advantage on this occasion.

"Excuse me, can you just move that?" the umpire says to one of the ball kids.

The 'that' is a little bird hopping around on Arthur Fery's side of the court and the chosen ball kid sprints towards it, chases it away and earns a laugh from the crowd.
