    There was no stopping Parsons who broke the record last week in Galway and Dannah O'Brien adds the extras with ease.

    In the second half last week, they scored three of their four tries in the second half to bring the score from 19-5 to 31-24, so they will be hoping for the same sort of response today.

    What an opening 40 minutes!

    Ireland were unable to get off to a fast start, with Japan dotting down early on through Sakurako Korai.

    However, tries from Eilis Cahill, Brittany Hogan, Neve Jones and Anna McGann see Scott Bemand's side head to the changing room 22-7 ahead at the break.

    A big second half awaits!

    Niamh Gallagher started the action as she went sniping through on her first start for Ireland, with Erin King recycling the ball to McGann.

    The conversion is unsuccessful but Ireland will be slightly happier with that heading into half time.
