Borthwick has had six months to work on the disaster that was the Six Nations! Absolutely nothing has changed. Poor team selection (how on earth can Smith be full-back against the Boks). And dreadful discipline! You cannot play top-tier nations with 13/14men!!!

Whatever Steve Borthwick says about developing the team, I'm sorry, but it just isn't working or producing results. England fans deserve much better for their continued loyalty. It's time for a replacement with fresh ideas.

It will be interesting to see how England go about attacking this game. It was very much a kicking game against South Africa when we wanted to see progression from the France game in the Six Nations.

More from former England centre Jonathan Joseph on 5 Live: "The way England have played over the last year it has been so hard to decide who is the best centre because they kick the ball away a lot.
"The centres are not getting many touches. Henry Slade probably gets 10-15 touches of the ball in a game for Exeter but for England it's five or six.
"I am a big fan of Max Ojomoh. The game has moved on massively in terms of attacking play. He is our best attacking centre in terms of creating space for others, he's a great reader of the game and it's like having a second 10 on the field.
"With the way the game is going, you need two really good receivers in your backline."

Whatever the RFU says, this England side is the product of a poor coaching team. Borthwick has had: 10 different centre combinations in last 12 games, 14 back-row combinations in last 20 games and 15 back-three combinations in last 20 games. How is that ever going to work?
