For the second week running, Scotland have shown lots of heart and some flashes of their potential in attack, but their defence has been exposed by the power of the Black Ferns.

It's another one.
Number eight Mia Anderson carries hard to get the Black Ferns moving and then centre Amy Du Plessis arrives on a brilliant line to slice through the Scottish defence to score.
A double-whammy before half-time for the hosts.

This is following a very similar pattern to last week against Canada. Every time Scotland get themselves back into the game, they concede immediately.
New Zealand seem to be able to crank up the power when they need it and after Alen Saili makes good yards, scrum-half Tara Turner switches the point of contact with a slick long pass and Layla Sae powers through a couple of tackles to score.

Her work-rate there to get in support was outstanding.

Shyrah Tulia-Tua'a shrugs off Cetidh Ainsworth too easily to break up the wing. She finds Elinor-Plum King on her shoulder and she steps Chloe Rollie to go over.

Just as Scottish tails were up, New Zealand strike again.
It comes from a scrum in a great attacking position on the 22 in line with the posts.
The Black Ferns move it left then whip back right where they have numbers to spare and Justine McGregor finishes in the corner.
