Worcester Warriors have made their first signing since being crowned Champ Rugby champions, agreeing a deal for next season with Exeter scrum-half Charlie Chapman.
The 27-year-old has made 23 appearances for the Chiefs so far in 2025-26, with 10 of those coming in the Prem.
He joined Exeter on a one-season deal from Gloucester last year, having spent his formative years with Gloucester, where he played more than 100 times for the Cherry and Whites across eight seasons.
Chapman becomes the seventh player brought in by Warriors for the 2026-27 campaign, following back-row James Cherry, props Joe Jones and Cam Miell, hooker Jack Dickinson, forward John Hawkins and lock Owain Evans.
Worcester won the Champ in thrilling fashion in their first season back in professional rugby after financial problems.
After finishing fourth in the regular season, they beat Chinnor in the play-off quarter-final, unbeaten leaders Ealing with the last play of the game in the semi-final, and Bedford 27-14 in the final.
"To join after the season they've had is great," Chapman told the club website., external
"I'm motivated to help create more history for the group."
