Leeds full-back Miller to miss play-offs

Leeds Rhinos full-back Lachlan Miller will miss the rest of the campaign with a torn hamstring.

Miller, 32, suffered the injury in the opening minutes of Saturday's defeat by top two rivals Wigan Warriors.

The Australian scored four tries in 23 appearances for the Rhinos in 2026.

"It's heartbreaking for the team but I always put the player first and it's more disappointing for Lachie," head coach Brad Arthur told BBC Radio Leeds.

"He's worked really hard on some things that I've asked him to improve in his game and his conditioning level. He's done everything we've asked him to do.

"He was playing with a fractured eye socket going into the game and the physios even had a place saved this Monday for him to have an operation if it got any worse. That's how committed he was to the team.

"Everyone else has got to stand up around him now."

Leeds can still win the League Leaders' Shield on Friday if they beat Hull FC and Wigan lose at home to Catalans Dragons.
