A river that is home to about 100 saltwater crocodiles has been given the OK to host Olympic and Paralympic rowing and canoeing events at the 2032 Brisbane Games.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story said there were about 500 crocodiles thought to inhabit the river but Australian government estimates put the number of saltwater crocodiles in the Fitzroy River at around 100.
