What a finish we had here with that nerve-jangling finale!

Dramatic stuff, you feel for Daisy Gibb and you feel for Hampshire because they have come, so so close - that's a final for the ages.

Lucy Higham cannot believe she is still there batting after that first ball reprieve, but she seems calmer than many of those before her to her credit.

Guess she knows she should not be there still so has nothing to lose.

Should be two in two, how on earth has she dropped that?!

The world stopped still, it hung in the air for eons, a sitter of a caught and bowled, and maybe the pressure got to Bex Tyson, no excuse though.

A fifth drop for Hampshire, but they could make 15 wicket-taking chances and win this game still Blaze keep serving them up.

No early departure, early report write up or any of the like here, this is going right down to the wire, the Blaze batters not swinging from the hips yet, running hard, taking it deep.

Though Kirstie Gordon decides not to run so hard and suffers two consecutive dots. Emma Jones almost running down and back, before being sent back, diving just across the throw and staying in.

Then they run three singles that probably were not there but get away with two mis-pick-ups and Naomi Dattani missing the stumps with Gordon barely in the frame.

I keep wanting to say the home side Hampshire, but technically Blaze are home, they got to kick Hampshire out of their own changing room, such is the oddity of a massive Cup final being hosted at the home of one of the finalists.

Hampshire needed Wednesday's eliminator v Surrey to get their spot today remember, Blaze had an extra day off and got the home rooms for finishing top of the group.
