    It was a contest of extraordinary intensity and scoring power, finishing with a combined tally of 59 points — a new Ulster final record — just one more than last year’s total in their defeat to Donegal.

    With a healthy cushion in place, it’s beginning to feel as though the 18-year wait may finally be coming to an end — and that another extra-time heartbreak could be avoided in dramatic fashion here in Clones.
